About a hundred parishioners attended the Liberty and Livelihood march for the countryside in London on Sunday 22 September. Victory Tours biggest double decker was filled for the event, while others from the village and from Pentridge, Woodcutts, Woodyates and Farnham traveled by other means. All the marchers passed Parliament, where a Sixpenny Handley banner was prominent for all to see.
